Grade 70 chain - also known as transport chain - is the most popular tie down chain option. 20% stronger than grade 43 chain, it is more durable for stabilizing large loads and is well-suited for most cargo securement jobs where chain is used. This style - with one grab hook and one slip hook - allows for connections directly to an anchor point on the trailer and on the equipment, eliminating the need to wrap the chain around and back to itself for securement.It has a yellow or gold chromate finish for corrosion-resistance, and is commonly used in a wide variety of industries, including towing,logging safety, and oil rigging.
